Our aim is to make a positive impact on the natural world and our society. In every aspect of product sourcing we strive to work with suppliers who manage material selection and actual production methods in the interests of customers, employees, shareholders, community and the environment – rather than just focussing on business goals.
Until recently, certified teak garden furniture in the UK has been hard to find. All Made on Earth Collection products on our website are sourced from reclaimed teak with full FSC approval. Not only is it the strongest teak in the world, but it also carries the FSC marque, backed by its own Chain of Custody.
We use teak for its immense strength and durability. Its high oil content prevents warping and provides protection against even the most extreme weather conditions. If left exposed to the elements over time our teak will mellow to a soft silvery-grey. If you prefer the original golden colour, it can be maintained with the application of specialist oil.
